Two Bin Solutions
Our Two Bin Kanban solutions offer robust VMI or CMI solutions to meet the needs of any production environment, including line, batch and job. Each Kanban solution utilizes a rack, or a series of racks, set up in close proximity to the point of use. Each rack has a series of bins that are specified to suit the needed part size and velocity. On each bin, a bar or QR code label can be scanned for replenishment. Each bin also has unique batch control, ensuring full product traceability to the point of assembly or use.
Our Two Bin system uses a pair of identical bins to store the same SKU. Highly effective for manufacturers with a repetitive production schedule and quantity, this system replenishes based on stock levels, often when the first bin is emptied.
One Bin Solutions
Our single bin Kanban solutions offer the same operation and benefits as our two bin solutions, but are ideal for space constrained environments and/or larger products. The single bin can be replenished based on an agreed replenishment cycle or paired with one of our electronic trigger Smart solutions.
Twin Bin Vertical Solutions
Our space-saving Twin Bin Vertical Kanban solutions are perfect for cell, batch, and job production environments. They feature a vertical rack, or a series of racks, set up within proximity to the point of use. All racks have an upper and lower bin for each SKU. Both bins are stocked and consumption is taken from the lower bin. When the lower bin is empty, a pull lever opens a trap door, allowing material to drop from the top to the bottom bin. This pull also triggers a visual flag, prompting replenishment.
Standard or Smart Tech Options
Each of our Kanban VMI and CMI solutions has the option of being enhanced with scales, plungers, and other signals that transmit directly to monitoring software. This automation ensures product consumption is monitored in real time and that replenishment occurs efficiently.
